Meet our new intake Noelle. This little baby has parvo 😭
On Christmas Eve, we rescued a mama dog and her tiny puppy from the streets. Both were covered in fleas, exhausted, and the mum was severely matted — but they were finally safe. Or so we thought.
A few days later, everything changed.
The puppy’s health declined suddenly and without warning. After tests, our worst fear was confirmed: parvo.
Now little Noelle is fighting for her life. She was so incredibly lively when she arrived, a perfect puppy. It’s truly so heartbreaking to see her suffer like this now
She is so small. So fragile. She is fighting with everything she has.

No matter how much we post them, people don’t seem to take an interest. Seb and Troy were born in the mountains, where survival meant cold nights, scarce food, and relying entirely on their mother in harsh conditions. Life was a constant struggle until we stepped in and brought them to safety.
That difficult start shaped them. They are sensitive dogs who are still learning to trust people. They don’t seek affection. They have never seen humans as a source of safety or love. They are something kind of novel to them.
Their siblings who were adopted to calm, adult only homes have thrived. We know these dogs have lovely temperaments who can blossom under the right conditions, with patient understanding people and our guidance. As much as we try our best, just like with all of our dogs, they can only come so far in a shelter environment. They need homes and attention to progress.

In the rush of the holiday season, we missed a very important thank you — and we want to fix that 🤍
In December, Pascal English School organised a Christmas Charity Gift Box collection in support of our shelter, and the generosity we received was heart-warming. Food, toys and treats lovingly prepared by the students were donated to help our dogs through the festive season.
We are grateful to the school, the teachers, and especially the students who chose kindness and compassion for animals in need. Thank you, Pascal English School, for thinking of our dogs and for being part of their second chance 🐾
