Pete′s Story

Hey guys. My name is Pete. I was a stray and I was roaming in the main street of a village, hungry and full of ticks and fleas. I was almost run over by a car when a volunteer of 2ndChance spotted me. She immediately stopped all the cars and came to my rescue. I knew I would be safe with her so once she approached me, I gave her a big kiss on her face.

Character & Temperament

They say that I am a very friendly, cute and handsome dog. I am playful and I love adults and kids. I love to play with toys. I can work for treats and I am also good in the car. I know basic cues and I can walk on the lead.

Ideal Home for Pete

Ι would fit perfectly in a family with kids and/or other dogs.

Trainers Evaluation

Pete has shown since day one at the Centre that is an easy going dog. He can cope well with changes in environment.  He is a very human orientated dog, which is a big plus; very intelligent, sociable and very playful.  He hasn’t shown any issues during the time he has spent at the rehabilitation centre.

As with all rescue dogs, the potential adopter must understand that a new dog needs time to settle in into a new environment and try to get all the possible guidance on how to help him do that.
