Cindy′s Story

I was just a young black dog when they visited the pound, locked inside a filthy, cold cage. I was so scared that I curled up in the corner of a wooden box, hoping no one would notice me.

I had been taken from the streets with my newborn puppies. They were sent away to another place because puppies are easier to love, easier to choose. I was left behind, alone behind metal bars—confused, heartbroken, and unwanted.

Then 2nd chance dogs came for me. They didn’t hesitate. They didn’t think twice. They took me with them to the centre, and that day they made me a promise: that one day, I would have a home of my own.

Character & Temperament

I was once a ball of energy, and although I’ve slowed down a little with age, I still have my playful moments and can be just a bit mischievous at times.

I’ll show you my affectionate side once trust is built—when that happens, my love is deep and genuine. I enjoy the company of other dogs and feel most comfortable around them.

I’m still learning about the big world around me and would really benefit from guidance, patience, and gentle reassurance.

Ideal Home for Cindy

I'm searching for a patient adult only home that can help me come out of my shell.Ideally, a home with another confident doggy would be amazing for me. One special requirement is high fences because I happen to be an excellent jumper and climber!

Trainers Evaluation

Cindy has come a long way with her learning to trust people again ,she is great with any other dogs , very playful and once she comes out from her shell she is very loving and affectionate. She is is learning quickly new things and loves to explore new things as she is very intelligent.
