I lived my whole life beside my person. We did everything together — every day, every routine, every quiet moment. She was my world, and I was hers.
But one day, she became very ill. I didn’t understand what was happening. I stayed close, waiting, hoping, trying to be brave. And then… I lost her. In that moment, I didn’t just lose my person — I lost my home, my safety, and the only life I had ever known.
After that, I went to live with a friend. He cared about me and wanted to help, but he worked long hours, and I was alone most of the time. The days felt endless. I was confused, heartbroken, and deeply lonely. I missed having someone beside me. I missed belonging.
When he realised that this life wasn’t fair to me, he made the difficult but selfless decision to bring me to 2nd Chance Dogs, so I could have the opportunity to find a home where I wouldn’t be alone anymore.
Now I am here, waiting. Waiting for someone to see me, to love me, and to give me a new world to believe in again.
I still have so much love to give. I just need someone to give me a chance.
