Jay′s Story

Hello, I'm Jay, and this is our poignant tale.

Our mom faced abandonment in a remote area while carrying us in her womb. Seeking refuge in the ruins of a quarry, she gave birth to two adorable puppies—us. The kind quarry workers, despite the challenges, didn't shoo us away and provided some food. However, the environment posed threats, urging us to find a safer haven.

One compassionate worker reached out to his friend, who, in turn, contacted several animal welfare organizations. Unfortunately, none could assist until they reached out to 2nd Chance Dogs. Despite their center being brimming with occupants, they pledged to help.

The following day, they arrived and took us in. Sadly, our mom, overwhelmed by fear, hid, and they couldn't capture her. Yet, their determination persisted, and after a few days, they successfully reunited us with our sweet mom.

Character & Temperament

I arrived here as a pup, and look at me now—I've grown into a playful, clever, and energetic friend ready to embark on exciting adventures with you!

I absolutely love playing with toys, engaging in a game of fetch, and chasing after my favorite humans in a friendly game of tag. Learning new things is also one of my favorite pastimes—I'm always up for a challenge!
