Hans′s Story

My name is Hans, and my heart carries the weight of abandonment.

Left to fend for myself with my brother Fritz at the university campus, we found solace in the kindness of people offering us food and attention. However, our attempts to trust ended in countless failures as capture loomed.

Desperation led them to seek help from 2nd Chance Dogs. After days of relentless attempts, my brother fell into their care, and, eventually, so did I. Now, within the walls of the rehabilitation and adoption center, we cling to hope, yearning for the warmth of a new and everlasting family.

From a timid young pup to a confident and playful companion, my journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

Having my brother by my side boosts my confidence, making me more at ease.

Though I'm a bit cautious with strangers, give me some time, and you'll witness my playful and energetic spirit. Once we bond, I'll be your loyal shadow, ready for every adventure life brings our way!

Ideal Home for Hans

I need a family that understands the difficulties I've faced and will give me the time and space that I need to open up.

Being an energetic young dog, I require both mental and physical exercise, so an active home would be ideal for me.
