Arlan′s Story

Our story is a little blurry.

We were very small, so we don't remember much. We remember being together, being inside a box, and being scared. Somehow, we ended up outside.

The man who called 2nd Chance Dogs said he had found us in a box while reversing his truck and had simply moved us so he could park.

But that wasn't quite the truth.

After some detective work, 2nd Chance discovered that passersby had called the police about a box of puppies. A camera had captured the man unloading the box from his truck. The municipality had collected us, and the police later asked him to come and get us.

He had left us there.

2nd Chance Dogs couldn't leave us with someone who had lied about us and clearly couldn't care for us, so they went to his home to rescue us.

There was no mama waiting for us.

There were just us — a dozen tiny puppies — and around a dozen cats, all crammed into a tiny apartment.

It wasn't the safe, warm beginning we deserved.

But then the door opened.

And someone came for us.

Character & Temperament

Typical happy puppies! We are playful, bouncy, mischievous little ones, full of curiosity and excitement. We love to explore the big world around us, discover new things, and of course, have plenty of fun along the way!

Ideal Home for Arlan

I am looking for a home that understands what a puppy needs and how much time, patience and work goes into raising one. I need someone who will guide me with love, teach me, give me structure and help me grow into a happy, confident dog. Most importantly, I need a home that understands that I am a lifelong commitment and will never abandon me again
