Randal′s Story

My family bought me as a puppy from another country, and for a while, I lived a happy, comfortable life. But everything changed when my parents split up. Suddenly, I went from lounging on a cozy sofa to being chained up in the backyard—unwanted and forgotten. Then one day, a kind lady heard about my situation. She stepped in and gave me a temporary home, keeping me safe and loved until 2nd Chance Dogs had space to welcome me.

Character & Temperament

I'm the ultimate cuddlebug—you won't find a more loving pup than me! I’ve got my basic cues down, and I’m a total pro on the leash. I’m a social butterfly with female dogs, and when it comes to kids? I’m head over paws in love with them! Oh, and let’s talk about treats... Got hot dogs or cheese? I’ll do just about anything for a bite. Seriously, I turn into a superstar when those goodies come out!

Ideal Home for Randal

I’m looking for a home that truly gets me—a poodle with standards! Yes, I’m loving, cuddly, and playful, but let’s be real: I’m also a bit high-maintenance (it’s not easy looking this fabulous). I’ll need regular grooming to keep my curls on point, mental stimulation to keep my clever brain busy, and of course... a throne (okay, a comfy bed will do).

I’d thrive with a family who sees me as part of the crew—someone who’s around often, loves going on walks, and doesn’t mind a little velcro-dog energy. I’d adore a home with respectful kids, maybe a sweet female doggy friend, and definitely a stash of hot dogs and cheese. I may be fancy, but I’m also full of heart. All I really want is to love and be loved—plus look fabulous doing it!
