I was found by a lady abandoned roaming in the street and she took me into her place because she felt sorry for me.This lady informed all the local authorities and tried to look for my family.she couldnt believe that I was abandoned because of my age and especially because of what a good girl I am and how well behaved.She contacted 2ndchancedogs to help me find a new home as I deserve and thankfully I am so happy she did as I was very sick with pyometra is a womb infection – a very serious condition, common in unneutered, female dogs like me.The vets immediately performed an emergency surgery to remove the womb, a fluid drip and medication. They said that I was lucky,the sooner a dog with a pyometra is treated, the better their chance of survival and recovery because pyometra can cause death..They also found and removed a Cyst and was sent for biobsy and still waiting for the results. I am very happy because now I have all the chances to be healthy and loved and never get abandoned again.
