Moggy′s Story

Hi my name is Moggy. You are probably wondering why I am not home with my family right? Well let me tell you my story. One very hot summer day, I was taken out for my usual walk. My previous owner tied me up on a tree. I thought he must have wanted to tie his shoelaces. Instead he started walking away. Maybe he forgot something at home. So I stayed there and waited for him…..waited and waited. It was very hot, I was thirsty, I started sweating which is not easy when you are a 40kg German Shepheard dog, and especially when its 38 degrees Celsius outside. I wasn’t a well maintained German Shepheard. My fur was all knotted up, I was a bit smelly as well but I was and always be very friendly. After a few hours of being tied up on the tree, a man saw me and tried to approach me. He petted me and asked me where my owner was. Well…..i didn’t know what to say. He understood that I belonged somewhere because I remember him telling the 2ndchancedog volunteer on the phone that I was very friendly. As soon as the 2ndchancedogs volunteer arrive, I kinda felt relieved. I started wondering if my previous owner would come but at the same time was thinking that he doesn’t deserve me. No one should leave their doggy tied up on a tree specially in this weather. To cut the long story short, I was taken to the vet for a check up to see that I am healthy, and then was taken to the rehoming and rehabilitation centre where they gave me a nice bath and brushed my fur. Oh that felt so nice!! I am very happy where I am right now, but I know that I would be happier as part of a loving family.

Character & Temperament

I am a gentle, alm and easy going dog.I can adapt easily to changes.They say I am one of the best dogs at the centre, great with everyone, especially kids who know how to behave around me. I am very socialized and love everyone .

Ideal Home for Moggy

I can fit to any family who would love to have a gentle giant as a best friend, I can be your best companion to watch T.V in the evenings and a great friend to walk with you discovering new places , i do not need to exersise too much as my only worry is to be with you and be part of your life everywhere.
