Juno′s Story

Hi, my name is Juno.

I was once part of a family that didn't pay much attention to me. I spent my entire life tied up on a long chain. One day, my previous owners decided they no longer wanted me, and they contacted the vet to let him know I was no longer wanted in the family.

I felt so sad and kept wondering what I had done wrong.

Thankfully, the vet was concerned about my welfare and contacted the 2nd Chance Dogs team, who came to my rescue without hesitation.

I've been living at the shelter since 2021. While I'm safe and well cared for, I've spent years watching other dogs find their forever families while I continue to wait for mine. I still dream of the day someone chooses me and gives me the loving home I've always deserved.

Character & Temperament

I'm a sweet boy looking for a family to share my life with.

I love being outdoors, exploring my surroundings, and playing with my favourite toys. A good game of fetch and some time spent with my people are some of my favourite things.

I also enjoy the water and would happily join my family on little adventures and new experiences.

Like many dogs, I still need some guidance and patience, especially when it comes to walking nicely on a leash, but I'm eager to learn and build a bond with my humans.

Ideal Home for Juno

I would do best as the only dog in the home, as I prefer having my own space and don't always feel comfortable around other dogs.

I'm an active boy who enjoys being outdoors, so a home with a garden would be wonderful for me. I would love to spend my days exploring, playing, and sharing special moments with my family.

I still have so much love to give and I'm ready to learn, experience new things, and build a bond with someone who will give me the chance I deserve.
