Principessa′s Story

We didn’t understand why everything at home had become so loud and scary. The man we called our guardian wasn’t gentle—his anger filled the rooms, his shouts and harsh hands always looming. We didn’t understand all of it, but we knew fear. Sometimes we tried to comfort our mom, nuzzle the little one, or stay out of the way—but nothing seemed to help.

Then one day, the police came. The people we loved most were gone—our mom and the little one taken away to a safe place. We never saw them again.

The house was silent, empty… and cold. We waited, hoping they’d come back, but they never did.

Then he came back—the man whose hands we had learned to fear. Instead of caring for us, he took us somewhere strange and left us at the home of a relative, abandoning us completely. We huddled together, hearts pounding, missing the only people who had ever made us feel safe.

When 2nd Chance finally arrived, we were scared, exhausted, and unsure if anyone could ever be gentle again. But their hands, their voices, their care reminded us that love still exists. And though our little hearts will always ache for the family we lost, we are learning to hope again.

Character & Temperament

We are just two little hearts full of love, even after everything we’ve been through. We are sweet, gentle, and we crave human attention—we love cuddles, gentle pets, and soft words. Our tails wag at every kind touch, and we give love freely, even though we’ve known fear. All we want now is a warm home, a safe place, and humans who will love us forever. We are ready to give all our hearts to the family that will finally choose us.
