Lorna′s Story

Hi I am Lorna.

A kind lady found and rescued me from the busy road at the center of the town, I was roaming alone scared and not knowing where I was going. The lady took me to her vet to check for a microchip with the hope to find my family and because she could tell that there was really something wrong with my tummy.

Unfortunately, I didn't have any, so the lady followed all the legal procedures again with the hope that someone will look for me. The municipality took me right away to their vet where I had to be operated on urgently.I had a hernia and it was very dangerous for me.

A friend contacted 2nd chance to assist because the municipality shelter is full and overwhelmed with abandoned dogs this time. I needed to be somewhere safe and alone without any stress so I could heal well and thankfully after the vet, I went to the 2nd chance dogs centre. Time went by without no one coming or looking for me, I believe that's why I was abandoned.

I am recovering so well and I am almost ready for a family who will open their home and heart for me.

Character & Temperament

I am an easygoing girl, very loving and cuddly.

I just want to be with humans only, love the attention and treats!

I can do with short walks as I don't need a lot of exercise, I just want to lay down at my bed and keep you company and relax.

Ideal Home for Lorna

I would fit into any family because I am a confident, calm, and loving little girl, I would prefer to be an only dog so I get all the love and attention. I promise I will be your best friend.
