Toddy′s Story

My name is Toddy and I was named in memory of an amazing man, a social activist and environmentalist, the late N. Todd. I was found by the 2nd Chance team on their way back from Paphos, sitting on the edge of the highway. When they saw me, they called the police for help, as I was in great danger there. I was really scared, so once the police and the team approached me, I ran off into the fields. The police left, unable to help, but the team didn’t give up on me and returned to give it another go. This time, I was more willing to cooperate and they were able to catch me. During the drive back, I kept licking their hands out of gratitude… They drove me straight to the vets as I was weak and malnourished. The vet said that I must have given birth recently. I am now at the 2nd chance centre and I am extremely happy about that.

Character & Temperament

I am a very calm and laidback dog. I can be playful when it’s fun time and I enjoy running up and down with other dogs. I love humans’ company and I show this by giving them kisses. I am very good in the car. I am great with other dogs and kids. I am good with cats as well.
