Stefanie′s Story

Hi. My name is Stephanie. I was just a few months old when my best friend, Ray, and I were found as strays by a man that picked us up to help us. Soon he passed over my friend Ray to someone else who said he wanted to adopt her. Unfortunately, a few weeks later he returned her back and she was pregnant. She gave birth in the filthy cage where we were held and I was such a good girl that I was protecting her pups like my own. Most of the babies died except two. We were fed with leftovers; only bread and pasta. Our water bowl was filled with urine and our cage floor was covered in fleas. The 2nd Chance team saw a post about us and couldn't look the other way. I was full of ticks and anaemic when they rescued us so now I am on special food and supplements to be strong again. I know that soon I will find the perfect family to love me.

Character & Temperament

I am a sweet and friendly girl and also very human oriented. I love to be petted and to be around people. I am also great with other dogs. In general I have no issues at all!
