Jet′s Story

I was rescued from the streets and taken to an overcrowded pound. In a cold cage, my chances of being noticed — of getting another shot at a better life — were slim… until a kind volunteer made a call to 2nd Chance Dogs. Thankfully, they had space and welcomed me in.

Character & Temperament

I can be a little unsure around new people at first, but once I know you, I’m very sweet and full of love. In my past life as a hunting dog, I didn’t get many chances to play with toys or go for long walks. Now I’m learning how wonderful it is to just be a happy dog—sniffing, playing, cuddling, and enjoying every moment. I take everything in my stride, and I get along really well with other dogs.

Ideal Home for Jet

I’d love a family who understands that I might be shy at first, but who will see the loving, loyal boy I become once I’m comfortable. I’d enjoy having gentle walks, lots of sniffing time, and plenty of cuddles. A home with kind humans and maybe a friendly dog companion would be perfect for me. Most of all, I’m looking for someone who will love me forever and help me keep learning how wonderful life can be.
