My name is Ray. I was just a few months old when I was found as a stray by a man that picked me up to help me. I was then passed over to someone else who said he wanted to adopt me. Unfortunately, no homecheck was done, and it turned out that home was not the right one for me. So they returned me to the man that picked me up from the streets before. Unfortunately I got pregnant and gave birth in the filthy cage where I was held with another dog, my friend Stephanie. Most of my babies died and I was left with just two. It was no place for a dog there, let alone for tiny puppies. I was fed with leftovers, only bread and pasta, our water was filled with urine and our cage floor was covered in fleas. The 2nd Chance team saw a post about us and couldn't look the other way. I was just over 5 kilos, full of ticks and anaemic so now I am on special food and supplements to be strong again. I am getting better every day and so are my babies.
