Fritz′s Story

My name is Fritz, and my heart carries the weight of abandonment.

Left to fend for myself with my brother Hans at the university campus, we found solace in the kindness of people offering us food and attention. However, our attempts to trust ended in countless failures as capture loomed.

Desperation led them to seek help from 2nd Chance Dogs. After days of relentless attempts, my brother fell into their care, and, eventually, so did I. Now, within the walls of the rehabilitation and adoption center, we cling to hope, yearning for the warmth of a new and everlasting family.

Character & Temperament

From a shy, young pup with limited human contact, I blossomed into a confident and kind-hearted soul.

The journey to unveil my sweet and gentle temperament took time, but now, as a fully grown dog, I'm poised and ready to embark on a new chapter with a loving family.

Playful and incredibly clever, I've mastered some basic cues and have an eagerness for learning new tricks.

Ideal Home for Fritz

I need a family that understands the difficulties I've faced and will give me the time and space that I need to open up.

Being an energetic young dog, I require both mental and physical exercise, so an active home would be ideal for me.

I'm comfortable living as the only dog in a household, but I also enjoy the company of other dogs, relishing those moments of shared joy and companionship.
