Emery′s Story

I am Emery. My 5 siblings and I were taken away from our mother and were dumped at a garbage discard place. Four of our siblings didn't make it, but my sister Boots and I were saved by an old man who found us half dead. He took us to his farm; a scary and dangerous place with many big dogs. When things got really dangerous, as other dogs were attacking us all the time, the man took us into his home to save us. There were 6 other dogs. The old man meant well but he couldn’t even meet our basic needs. We were never allowed to go outside, had no exercise and after his wife got very sick he knew that he should ask for help. Thank God, 2nd Chance stepped in. We are now at the Centre looking for someone to fall in love with us.
