Vicky ′s Story

They call me Vicky. I was always such a happy puppy. Even when life wasn't that good to me, I was always optimistic. I was born on a farm by a mother who was constantly giving birth and then losing her babies to parvo. I must have been very strong as I was the only one to survive that terrible disease. One day, the farmer decided to take me to his home to have me as a pet. At his home were so many dogs that we couldn’t have a good quality life, even though he meant well. When his wife got very sick, the old man knew he should ask for help. That is when 2nd Chance stepped in. I am currently at the Centre and waiting for someone to give me hugs, kisses and love.
