Ilona′s Story

My previous owner was a hunter, I did not like hunting all I wanted was to be is his friend, one day he took me for hunting and was unhappy with me because I didn't like to hunt. He dumped me in the middle of nowhere and left.... I didn't understand why?. I wandering around for days I was so hungry, thirsty and so tired. It was in the peak of summer, it was so hot. The dog warden caught me one day and took me to an awful place called "the pound" I was there for 15 days and I heard him say that if no one was to get me out that he would euthanize me. I didn't understand why.... that day the lady from 2nd Chance Dogs came to my rescue and the rest is history.

Character & Temperament

I am a timid German pointer girl with unique white-tan colors and very expressive eyes, so my trainer says, she also says that I need time to trust someone even though I am fine with her.

I am great with all other doggies and love to play allot.

Ideal Home for Ilona

I would love a home with a family that has the patience to work with me so that I can trust them and settle into my new home environment. I am great with all dogs and it would be very helpful if I had a brother or sister in my dream home. A nice garden for me to play in would be amazing
