Toto′s Story

My name is TOTO and I was found as a stray. I was scared and in horrible pain. A lovely lady, Angela, from Kiti Pound, took me to the vet and after they had X-rayed me, they saw that I had been shot. They also found out that I have second degree Bilateral Patella Luxation. Who would be so mean as to shoot me, you may wonder? I’m just a 3.5kg baby and I never wanted to harm anyone.

My guardian angel, Angela asked the 2nd chance team for help and I have been with them since then. The only treatment for my condition was surgery on both legs. If I didn't have this op it could have caused Arthritis, Lameness and Craniel Ligament Rupture. I had my first operation on my right knee and I will have the other knee operated on soon. The vet will try to remove the bullet from my shoulder as well…

I am safe and happy now at 2nd chance centre, with my new best friend Tommy and I will be available for adoption really soon.
