Burt′s Story

I had a home but unfortunately my parents gave me up as they were moving to America and did not want to take me with them. Now I am looking for a new family that will look after me. In return I promise I will eat all the treats they give me lol! (Of course I will love you forever too!)

Character & Temperament

I am a couch potato! I have always loved to sit up on the couch and chill out. I don't have high energy and I am very laid back. I am sociable but will not run around after other dogs when they play. I love human company, especially if it involves belly rubs. I am great with little people as well, as long as they know how to be around dogs.

Ideal Home for Burt

I would love to have a home that is not very active. Preferably an elderly couple, as I would make an excellent companion for them.

I am a great friend to have around if you love spending time watching the telly or football as I love sitting on the couch watching you watch the telly.

I do not need to take long distance walks and I can live in an apartment as long as I get a regular short walks.

Trainers Evaluation

Burt is an easy going and very sociable dog, he shows no reactivity to other dogs or people, his history was he lived for the first 7 years of his life in a family home and is well adjusted and ready to enter a new family home. He is a low energy dog and for this I would recommend him to a home that is not very active, would make an ideal devoted companion for an elderly person of couple.
