From the time I was a puppy I had an owner and used to live in the UK, my owner loved me so much, we did everything together, I spent days and days training with him, oh how I loved to work for him.... I loved to play with the toys he gave me when I did what he wanted, life was great!.
He decided to relocate to Cyprus, The Island life was lovely, no more cold rainy days, and I loved the sea..
My owner unfortunately got addicted to drugs, one day the police came for him and took him away.. I was left alone so I ran away and roamed the streets looking for him but couldn't find him anywhere... After days and days in the streets, I lost weight, got weak and ended up in a place they call the Pound in a village north east of the Larnaca district... I was really stressed.
The volunteer from the organization that looks after the Pound took me to the VET and told him that I was sick and should be Euthanized.
She just left me there to be killed and disappeared. 🙁
That day even though I did not know it yet, It was to be my lucky day for after a short while, another lady came and stopped in front of my cage where they had placed me to prepare me for the injection.
She saw me she asked the VET "why is this beautiful dog here?" As she saw I was stressed.
The VET told her "He was brought to me to be euthanized, as I was told he is sick and has a terminal disease",
She told the VET in an infuriated manner "Test him now! I will cover the costs of the test and take him anyway". Turns out I wasn't sick after all and was in perfect health.
The Lady whispered to me in my ear "you are safe with me now" and she took me to a place called the 2nd Chance Dogs Rehoming center.
(FYI 2nd Chance knows the UK history for we tracked the owners father from the Microchip which was registered in the UK)
Please help 2nd Chance Dogs by donating to this fundraiser… BY DONATING TO MY FUNDRAISER YOU ARE ALSO HELPING THE OTHER DOGS IN THE 2nd Chance Dogs Rehoming Center. Ps. You can find out about us here... https://www.2ndchancedogs.org/dogs/
