The name comes from the Old High German "irmin", meaning "world". I would know as I am of German descendants. It’s a pretty powerful name but it suits me perfectly! I am a strong lady! Well, life made me be so strong. This is because when I was a puppy, I was taken to a farm by a man to be the guard dog. Unfortunately at the farm, there were a lot of male dogs who kind of took advantage of me and I ended up getting pregnant. Again and again and again. I became a breeding machine. However, my puppies were dying one after another from a very brutal disease called parvo. I was so sad to see all my babies gone. My system was becoming weaker as the time went by. Thankfully, one day a 2ndchancedogs volunteer came to my rescue. Oh the joy! We went to the vet, I got all the tests done and I was saved!! I was saved from a life of being forced to be both a guard dog and a breeding machine. I am finally at a happy place and couldn’t be more excited about it! I believe that now all its missing is a family that would want to adopt me to be part of the family.
