I was wandering in a farming area, trying to avoid the hunters who were there illegally, until I was found by a girl curled up next to her car, shaking with fear. She immediately hugged me and took me to the vet. I was in a miserable state. Covered in ticks and clearly malnourished. During the examination they saw dozens of small holes in my body which they immediately realized were from shrapnel, as I am also one of the victims of this horrible "sport" they call hunting.
I am now safe and recovering physically and mentally at 2nd Chance Dogs.
