On 21/2/19 we took under our care a very malnourished and sick dog through someones post on Facebook. Once we saw his horrible condition we knew that he needed a chance and he needed it asap as apparently he was a stray for long time. So with David s help who managed to catch him went straight to our vets.
Originally, we thought that Bruno was a puppy as he was so skinny and tiny but he is around 2 to 3 years old. He is very malnourished and has a very serious skin infection. He is probably mini jura pointer cross. His general blood and biochemical blood exams showed extended anemia as was expected. His tests for leishmaniasis are not conclusive, so we will be waiting for his IFAT results for leishmania. He in on antibiotics treatment for his skin infection and he is taking several vitamins and a very good quality food. He is a timid dog, very scared and very exhausted. He has a long way to recovery and hopefully no other issues will appear in the next days.
As of 7/3/19 we moved little Bruno to our centre.

We met this little boy last week and as much as all of the dogs melted our hearts, there was something unique about Bruno. We want to help him get his skin sorted out as soon as possible and look forward to following his progress. When he looks at you, you cannot help but want to make him better. Good luck Bruno x
